Kurt Caselli Ride Day Returns to Glen Helen and Raises Nearly $128,000 for Off-Road Safety
MURRIETA, California (February 18, 2026) — The Kurt Caselli Foundation returned to Glen Helen Raceway on Saturday, December 6, 2025, for the 12th Annual Kurt Caselli Ride Day. The community’s generosity raised $127,708. These funds will support high-quality course marking supplies for about 30 promoters and clubs nationwide, restart Riders 1st Responders First Aid and CPR training classes in the coming year, and fund four new educational scholarships for racers pursuing their goals on and off the track. Over 1,100 riders, families, sponsors, and supporters attended the event, representing a 65% increase over the previous year.
Kurt’s mother, Nancy Caselli, reflected on the return to Glen Helen: “Glen Helen holds such a special place in our family’s heart. It was a second home for Kurt and Rich, and returning there for Ride Day brought back so many memories. Seeing the growth in attendance and the continued support for safety tells me Kurt’s spirit is still very much alive in this community. Thank you to everyone who rides, remembers, and supports the Foundation.”
The 2025 Ride Day brought together riders of all ages and skill levels for a full day of track and off-road riding, beginner skills instruction with USMCA-certified coaches, adaptive athlete sessions with MotoDemption, and community engagement along Vendor Row. Forty industry partners and local businesses supported the event, creating a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere while advancing the Foundation’s safety-focused mission. The sold-out Caselli Team Challenge Race was entertaining as always. Marvin Musquin and teammate Brennan Watson took the top spot on the podium. The Kurt Memorial Legend Lap brought riders together in a powerful tribute, honoring Kurt’s legacy and the impact he continues to have on the off-road community.
During the Foundation’s on-stage presentation, the Spring 2026 Caselli Scholarship recipients were announced: Addy Albrecht of Bozeman, MT; Rhett Russo of Peoria, AZ; and Piper Carver-Coons of Henderson, NV. The Foundation typically awards up to two scholarships per cycle, but an anonymous donor made it possible to recognize a third recipient this spring with a $6,600 contribution. Each scholarship is applied directly toward the recipient’s tuition. The December event concluded with an auction and raffle drawings. The KCF x Taco Moto Dream Bike Giveaway drawing was held on January 14, following completion of the custom build process. Brad Teegarden of Roseville, CA was named the winner of the Husqvarna FE350S.
All proceeds from the Kurt Caselli Ride Day and motorcycle giveaway benefit the Foundation's three-part mission: Before Racing, During Racing, and After Racing. These support rider safety, develop programs such as Riders 1st Responders training, and fund educational scholarships for racers.
