The Kurt Caselli Scholarship
Kurt planned to go back to school and become a teacher after racing. In his honor, we help current and former racers pay for their own Plan B with $6,600 toward tuition at an accredited school.

Line up your rider resume, record your intro video, and confirm your school's accreditation so you're ready to apply.
Who can apply
We look for racers who show the same character Kurt did on and off the bike.
To qualify, you must:
- Have at least two years of dirtbike racing experience
- Be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate
- Be a legal U.S. resident
- Be enrolled at an accredited college, university, or trade school, or in the enrollment process for the upcoming term
- Submit a fully completed application, including a rider resume and an introduction video

You can apply again when you're pursuing your next degree, such as a master's or PhD.
Have this ready
- Rider resume: your racing history, results, and the series you've raced
- Introduction video: tell us who you are and what you're working toward. Share it with view access for lindsey@kurtcaselli.com.
- School details: where you're enrolled (or enrolling) and your program
- A proofread application: we expect it to be free of spelling and grammar errors

Scholarship funds go directly to your school, so it must be accredited. Look it up before you apply:
Kurt's Plan B
Kurt wanted to go back to college after his professional racing career and become a teacher. He loved working with kids and helping them build confidence and skills.
His sister Carolyn, already a high school English teacher, wanted to honor that dream by helping other racers pursue their own Plan B. Together, Carolyn and the Foundation created the Kurt Caselli Scholarship, with funds paid directly to each recipient's school.
Since 2015, the scholarship has been awarded to 69 racers. In 2023, the award increased to $6,600, with up to two recipients each term. We know Kurt would be proud.
